Lost Newspapers of South Dakota

The South Dakota State Historical Society began preserving newspapers on microfilm in the late 1940s.While Historical Society efforts to find old newspapers have been extensive and ongoing, issues for some titles have never been found. How do we know they existed? From local history books and mentions in preserved newspapers. Following is a county-by-county list of South Dakota's lost newspapers. More names will be added as they are discovered.
