Museum Fee Schedule

Effective July 1, 2000

Prepayment for the services named below is required from all patrons.  Foreign patrons must send their fees in United States dollars (international money order preferred).  State and local sales tax (6%) has been included on all applicable items.

PHOTOCOPIES: 

a. $.25 cents per exposure for letter or legal

b. $.50 cents per "11x"17 exposure

c. larger than 11"x 17" actual cost plus 25 percent

RESEARCH SERVICES:

$20 per hour or by contract

FAX SERVICES:

$2.00 per page

PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES:

a. 5x7": b&w $15.90; color $21.20
b. 8x10": b&w $21.20; color $26.50
c. 35mm slide: $7.42
d. negative: $7.00
e. custom processing: cost plus 20%

TRANSPARENCY RENTAL

For Profit:
a. Up to 3 months: $100
b. Each additional month: $25

Not-for-Profit
a. Up to 3 months: $20
b. Each additional month: $8

REPRODUCTION RIGHTS FEES Single Edition, Single Language (in addition to photo purchase or transparency rental charges):

For Profit Corporations, partnership, private businesses and individuals
a. In-State: $20.00
b. Out-of-State: $100.00

Not-For-Profit Corporations and Government Agencies:
a. In-State: $10.00
b. Out-of-State: $50.00

South Dakota State, Local and Tribal Government Agencies:
No Charge

Projection Use (public lectures, classroom instruction, and business presentations only):
No Charge

Reference and Unpublished Research (local history, family history and disertations)
a. In-State: no fee
b. Out-of-State: $10.00

PHOTOGRAPHIC DELIVERY CHARGES:

a. Regular (3-4 weeks): Cost
b. Rush (1-2 weeks): Cost plus 50%
