ACTIVITIES

 

Their mission is to: protect the scientific integrity of the Mammoth Site, develop a center specializing in research of mammoth elephants, establish a significant institute that will contribute to scientific knowledge and educate the general public, conduct on-going expansion and/or upgrade of facilities; exhibits on educational programs; strengthen the overall educational emphasis of the site; establish on-site exhibits providing data from excavations; to develop understanding and appreciation for 26,000 years of fauna and floral changes in the region; manage a repository of collections from the Mammoth Site, Quaternary Research Institute, and other institutions or agencies.
