ACTIVITIES

The museum, on the campus of South Dakota State University, collects, exhibits and preserves materials related to the agricultural history and rural heritage of South Dakota. Particular areas of research include technological history, rammed earth construction and agricultural photography. The museum is open all year and includes photo and machinery manual archives.

Regular activities include: the Winter Brown Bag Lecture Series, each Friday noon, January through March; the N.E. Hansen International Lecture Series, each Wednesday noon, September through October; and the Annual South Dakota Christmas Exhibit, late November through early January.
