1969, when people assembled and preserved photographs of the construction of Orman Dam and the Belle Fourche Irrigation Project.

ACTIVITIES

1998 Governor's Award for History winner.

This year the society is planning a dedication of the 1884 Hillside School.

They are also planning their 39th annual tour to the Colony, Alzada, Albion, and three corner areas for June 22nd.

Friends of Butte County will hold their pot luck and family histories on Saturday, February 23rd with the Fischel, Wendt, and Hill histories.
