Hours have been expanded, previous hours were: May through September, M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sat. & Sun., 1 to 5 p.m. June through August, M-Sat, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sun, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

ACTIVITIES
|
The museum has changing exhibits, children programs, adult programs, children's activity center Discovery Land, holiday/special event programs, artist receptions, and outreach programs. The five building Dakota Discovery Museum complex also features the Oscar Howe Art Gallery, Charles Hargens Studio and Gallery, the Middle Border History Gallery, Case Dakota Art Gallery, the Gates Changing Exhibits Gallery, and four historic buildings. Regular wintertime museum hours are 10 am to 4 pm Mon-Fri and 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday. |
