ACTIVITIES

Purpose is to preserve the few remaining buildings in Hetland. There is an old school house, with seven rooms and a gym – the first gym in Kingsbury County. There were two dorms, allowing farm kids to attend high school. Other buildings include a town hall that is the same as it was 100 years ago, the First State Bank building that closed in the 1930s and never reopened, and an old blacksmith shop now owned by the society.
