Marshall County Historical Society

FOUNDED

1976. The society had 145 charter members in its first year!

MEETING SCHEDULE

Meet six or seven times a year, either in Britton, Eden or Veblen.

ACTIVITIES

 

Society's first project was compiling a 578-page history book of the county.

Each year there is a start-off banquet held in Britton. The month of July is usually set aside for a bus tour of the county.

Many of the society's members volunteer at Fort Sisseton during the Historical Festival and during the Frontier Christmas.
