ACTIVITIES |
The museum is located at
the corner of Junction and Main, in the old Post Office
Building (built in 1937). There are over 40 antique and classic motorcycles on
display as well as an expanding history of the Sturgis Motor Classic and the
history of motorcycles in general. Currently work is being done to finish the
basement of the building, with hopes of both levels to be completed this summer.
The museum has a gift shop and holds a
raffle drawing for a motorcycle, a bike life, and a unique rifle during the
Rally (tickets go on sale around February of each year).
Winter hours are Monday through Thursday 9am to 3pm, Friday 10am to 5pm, and
weekends 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Summer hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 5pm
and Sundays 9am to 4pm. The week of the Motorcycle Rally hours are
9am to 9pm. |
