Easter schedule set for Cultural Heritage Center

PIERRE, SD – Due to the Easter holiday, the archives research room of the South Dakota State Historical Society at the Cultural Heritage Center will not be open this Saturday, April 7.

The archives is usually open the first Saturday of each month. The archives will close at noon on Friday, April 6, and reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 9.

The museum at the Cultural Heritage Center will be open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday but will be closed Easter Sunday. The museum will also reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday.

The administrative offices of the State Historical Society will also close at noon on Friday, and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday.
