First Lady Rounds to sign new cookbook

PIERRE, S.D. -- The South Dakota Heritage Fund is pleased to announce that First Lady Jean Rounds will be available at the state Capitol to sign the new South Dakota Governors Residence Cookbook - A Culinary Legacy Celebrating the First Families of South Dakota. On Dec. 6, 11, 13, 18 and 20, she will be in the Governor's Reception area and will sign books from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. 

The cookbook was recently released by the South Dakota Heritage Fund. It is a collection of more than 600 recipes from 31 South Dakota Governors' First Families, and current and former Governor's cabinet and staff. The book will be available for sale at the Capitol during these times or can be purchased at the South Dakota Heritage Store at the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre. 

On Dec. 9, at the Cultural Heritage Center, First Lady Rounds will be available to sign the cookbooks and enjoy a recipe tasting event of favorites from the collection. The event hours are 1-4:30 p.m.
